Fundraising for Bridewell

As a fundraiser you're joining an amazing community of local supporters helping Bridewell to offer a recovery service for people most affected by their mental ill health.

We need to raise 50% of our costs each year and we could not do this without our fantastic community of fundraisers.

The funds you raise can be used in many ways, for example:

  • £25 covers the cost of a cooking session
  • £100 pays for fuel to run the minibus for one month
  • £1,200 covers the cost of compost for new plants for one year

Why fundraise for Bridewell?

We're a small charity punching above our weight from this little corner of West Oxfordshire. Bridewell works with people working torwards recovery, looking to the future once more with hope. Your fundraising for Bridewell will:

Raise awareness

of Social and Therapeutic Horticulture and how it helps with mental health recovery

Share the gardens

help other people find out about Bridewell who may be able to benefit from the recovery service

Raise funds

bridge the gap in our annual funding - the difference between our contractual funding and the real cost of delivering a recovery service

Open the conversation

encourage others to talk more openly about mental health, and the importance of wellbeing and prevention
